Job Description
We're looking for an Afterschool Math Instructor to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Teach math to elementary and middle school students
- Develop or implement your own curriculum, providing engaging and effective lessons
- Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
- Help students understand the structure of Math and develop mathematical competence
- Motivate each student to apply mathematical understanding and skills in the solution of practical problems
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience working with kids, preferably in a school system or university settings
- Previous experience teaching kids at a public school is a plus
- Ability and desire to make Math fun for children
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Teaching experience required
- Must be available after 4:30pm
- Must have reliable transportation
