Role:

Mathnasium of Tustin is looking for a passionate and energetic Math Instructor to help students build confidence and master math skills in a fun, supportive environment. If you love math and enjoy working with kids, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference in your community!

Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized, one-on-one and small group math instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels Assess student understanding and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs Guide students through Mathnasium's proprietary curriculum and instructional materials Track and record student progress, providing feedback to center directors Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic progress Maintain a organized and welcoming classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in math through at least Algebra II, Geometry, or higher Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently to students K-12 Friendly, enthusiastic, and student-focused demeanor Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule Must be 18 years or older; college students and graduates encouraged to apply Located in or near

Tustin, CA Center Hours:

Monday - Tuesday 3-7pm Wednesday 2-7pm Thursday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-1pm (up to 5 days are available)
