Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Part-Time Mathematics Instructor. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop innovative curricula, and foster a love for math across diverse learning environments. As a key contributor, you will utilize your expertise to enhance student understanding and academic success. Your passion for teaching and strong foundation in mathematics will help shape the future of eager learners seeking to deepen their knowledge. Responsibilities Deliver compelling classroom instruction tailored to students across various levels of mathematical complexity. Develop and refine curriculum content that aligns with current academic standards and utilizes the Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management Systems (LMS). Assess student progress through exams, projects, and participation, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives to ensure consistency and excellence in higher education teaching practices. Support students' diverse needs by adapting instructional strategies for adult education programs and working with students from varied backgrounds. Skills Extensive knowledge of mathematics including algebra and geometry. Experience in secondary teaching or higher education. Ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate data collection methods and analytical chemistry techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds; experience in adult education is preferred.
