JOB TITLE

Classroom aides, administrators, other classroom teachers, classified staff, parents, community members
QUALIFICATIONS
Current South Dakota teaching certificate
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT AND HOURS OF DUTY
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
JOB SUMMARY:
Work with students in a classroom setting on a daily basis teaching student curriculum aligned with South Dakota State curriculum Standards in order to facilitate students' growth.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of students and learning. Knowledge of instructional skills and techniques Knowledge of classroom and instructional area management. Develop and utilize lesson plans which incorporate adopted curriculum Work with support staff to gain appropriate services to meet students' needs. Communicate with parents on progress of students or other needed topics related to academic achievement. Knowledge/observe of District's Board Policies & Procedures. Knowledge/observe of District's negotiated Master Contract. Knowledge/observe of individual building procedures. Pursues professional growth. Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance of this job will be determined in accordance with provision of the evaluation policy and procedures of the board of education,
