K5-10th Grade Instructional Personnel - Must demonstrate proof of qualifications in accordance with Section 1002.421(1)(h), Florida Statutes. You must show proof of any one of the following requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript) Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies you to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.). Head of School /Academic Principal Position Summary:
Potential Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to inspire students in grades 9-10 to develop strong mathematical skills and critical thinking abilities within a Christ-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical principles with academic instruction while creating engaging lessons that challenge and support students at varying skill levels. Responsibilities Teach high school math courses such as Algebra I, Geometry, and/or Algebra II, depending on school needs. Create lesson plans, assessments, and activities that promote critical thinking and real-world application of math skills. Integrate Christian values and biblical worldview into daily instruction and classroom culture. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and collaboration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements. Participate in school events, faculty meetings, chapel services, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support student success and school initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required). Florida teaching certification or ability to obtain certification preferred. Experience teaching middle school math preferred. Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Commitment to Christian education and the mission of Potential Christian Academy. Ability to integrate faith and learning in the classroom.
