The ideal candidate will have prior experience teaching multiple classroom subjects to students in elementary grades. Successful candidates are detail oriented, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, faculty, and administrators. Overall Responsibilities The High School Math Teacher will use effective classroom management techniques to maintain an organized learning environment. He or she will create and engage students in lessons daily and coordinate with grade level teachers. Leadership Maintain a high personal standard consistent with the school's Core Virtues, vision, mission and motto. Support the vision, policies, financial objectives and directives of the governing board. Support a positive school culture based on mutual respect and shared expectations. Be willing to assist others as needed. Qualifications The minimum educational requirement for this job is an undergraduate degree. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other industry-specific technology. The ability to communicate effectively and problem solve in a fast-paced environment is critical to the success in this position. Knowledge of classical teaching methods is preferred.
