This role is ideal for someone who not only understands mathematics procedurally, but conceptually; someone who can break down complex ideas into clear, logical steps and develop strong mathematical thinkers. The ideal candidate values precision, structure, and reasoning, and can instill confidence and discipline in students through consistent expectations and strong classroom management.Responsibilities:
Teach mathematics across multiple grade levels (3-9), including arithmetic, pre-algebra, and algebraic reasoning Develop lessons that emphasize conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and logical thinking Build strong foundational skills while inspiring and advancing students toward higher-level mathematical reasoning Maintain a structured classroom with clear expectations and consistent routines Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly Prepare students for standardized assessments and long-term academic success Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership Participate in school meetings, planning, and professional developmentQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required) Strong mathematical background ; candidates with advanced math coursework preferred Florida teaching certification (preferred, not required) Proven ability to teach and explain mathematical concepts clearly Excellent classroom management and organizational skills Ability to challenge students while supporting varied learning levelsIdeal Candidate:
