Math Interventionist Teacher (Full-Time)

05/13/2026 Good Shepherd Catholic School in Kendall (Miami Dade County), Florida has an opening for a full-time Math Interventionist Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Under the direction of the Dean of Academics, this person will develop a schedule for intervention and enrichment instruction for grades K-8, provide small group and individualized Math instruction to all students, develop data-driven instructional goals, monitor student progress using both formal and informal assessment tools, and maintain effective communication between parents and teachers regarding student progress and direction of program. The Math Interventionist Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and education.
Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Elementary Education or Math Education.
Master's degree in education, Math Education, or related field preferred.
Florida Department of Education certification in K-6 is required, temporary or professional.
ESE certification a plus.
Knowledge and skill in the use of instructional technology in the classroom.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
Good oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
Strong spelling and grammar required.
Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
