High School Math Teacher

Following a recent retirement, Central Lee High School is searching for a qualified candidate for the 26-27 school year and beyond, with a start date of August 2026. All applicants must have a valid Iowa Teaching License and the endorsement: 5-12 Mathematics - 143 or 5-12

Mathematics:

Basic - 1431. The High School Math Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction to students in grades 9-12. Courses may include Math Lab, Algebra I, and Transitions to Algebra. The teacher will create a positive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical fluency while supporting diverse learners at varying ability levels. Central Lee High School has been classified as a "High Performing School" by the Iowa School Performance Profile for the past four years, scoring the 3rd highest amongst all high schools in the state for the past two years running. Centra Lee is well known for the high expectations it holds its students to and for the exceptional academic performance that is the norm here.
