Mathematics Teacher

Tippecanoe Valley High School is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who believes in building strong relationships, challenging students academically, and contributing positively to our collaborative school culture.

Position Overview:

This full-time teaching position may include instruction in the following courses: Algebra 1 Lab, Algebra 1, Geometry, or other advanced mathematics courses. Final teaching assignments will be determined based on student scheduling needs and candidate strengths.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, scaffolded math instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards. Use data and assessment practices to inform instruction and support student growth. Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Collaborate with department colleagues and school teams to support student success and school-wide literacy goals through explicit reading instruction. Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff. All other duties assigned by school administration.

Qualifications:

o Valid Indiana Teaching License in Mathematics (or ability to obtain by start date). o Strong knowledge of secondary math content. o Experience teaching math instruction to secondary students.
