Job Description:
Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor. Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
Job Requirements:
Assist in teaching a diverse population of students in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, fosters individual growth and promotes respect for self and others. Participate in pre-service and regular In-Service training. Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher. Must be able to multi-task, have patience, and be a team player. Must be able to assist with all grade level academic lessons and assignments. Experience with persons with special needs is a plus but not required
Job Qualifications:
60 college credit hours or Para Pro Certificate. Complete and clear all pre-employment drug testing and Indiana background check requirements for school personnel.
