Job Description

Job Description:
Directly responsible to a Title I Lead Teacher Provides small group literacy and math instruction as planned by the supervising teacher throughout the building to all grade levels and pushes-in to grade level classrooms for support as needed. Substitutes for teachers throughout the building as needed and requested by building administration. 5.75 hrs/day,
M-F Job Requirements:
Assist in teaching a diverse population of children in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, fosters individual growth and promotes respect for self and others. Must be willing to participate in regular training provided by the school: math intervention, phonics programs and other best practices Must be energetic, able to multi-task, have patience, and be a team player. Must be able to assist children with all grade level academic lessons and assignments. Regular attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications:
60 college credit hours or Para Pro Certificate. Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law
