Succeed:

Active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certification (General Education, Math); only fully licensed candidates considered Experience teaching high school math or similar grade levels Familiarity with the latest best practices in math instruction Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment Enthusiasm for helping each student reach their potential Ability to complete district-mandated credentialing requirements including drug screening and fingerprints Strong communication and collaboration skills

Your Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned to curricular standards Adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of high school students Create and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom culture Assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families to optimize student success Attend required meetings, trainings, and school events as needed Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
