Mathematics Instructor Tangi Learning Center Belmont, MA Job Details Part-time | Contract $55 - $65 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications SAT preparation guidance Master's degree ACT preparation guidance Full Job Description Tangi Learning Center is located in Belmont. We are currently seeking a Math Instructor. Primary duty is teaching Math at high school level, including Algebra, Precalculus, AP Calculus, and SAT and ACT Math. Individual must have the highest ethical values and superb teaching skills.
SUMMER SCHEDULE
Classes are scheduled 1-8pm, Mon-Thu.
FALL SCHEDULE
Classes are scheduled 4-9pm on weekdays, and 9am-2pm on Saturdays. This is an on-site position and with an immediate start date. Open until filled.
Qualifications include:
  • Minimum of Masters Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at high school or college level
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching SAT or ACT content and test-taking skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and one-on-one communication
  • Availability to work in evenings and Saturdays.
  • Eligible to work in US.
This is a part-time position with a workload of about 10-15h/week. September through May, at least two weekday evening and half day Saturday availability is required. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and up to 5 students individualized group tutoring. Utilize learning technology (online platform) for SAT prep. Foster a positive learning environment.
