MPS/UPS, dependent on experience Are you an enthusiastic Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September 2026? Teaching Personnel is currently working with a supportive mainstream secondary school in Dorchester who are seeking a motivated and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring students and helping them develop confidence in Mathematics, strengthen their problem-solving skills and achieve strong academic outcomes. The Role The successful candidate will be expected to: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 . Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment. Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Encourage positive attitudes towards learning and maintain high behavioural expectations. Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Mathematics department. Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities where appropriate. About You We're looking for a Maths Teacher who: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification . Has previous experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary setting. Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for helping students succeed. Can confidently manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Is able to engage and challenge students across different abilities. Is organised, dependable and adaptable. Has excellent communication skills and works well as part of a wider team. Is committed to providing an inclusive and high-quality learning experience.
