We focus on helping students understand math in a way their brains can finally access.
At Dyscalculia Tutoring, we work with students who struggle with math due to dyscalculia and related learning differences. Our mission is to help students build confidence, develop number sense, and experience success in mathematics through our proprietary MathBridge Method™: Map, Spark, Build, Sustain.
This is not simply a tutoring position.
We are building a professional pathway that trains exceptional math educators to become skilled dyscalculia interventionists. Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking compassionate, adaptable math educators who:
- Build strong relationships with students
- Understand that struggling learners need more than repetition
- Are patient, reflective, and coachable
- Can adjust instruction when a student is confused
- Enjoy solving learning challenges
- Communicate clearly with students and families
- Are excited to learn a specialized instructional approach
- Prior dyscalculia experience is not required.
- Curiosity, coachability, and a genuine desire to help students are far more important than previous knowledge of dyscalculia.
What You'll Do
As a Dyscalculia Tutor in Training, you will:
- Complete paid training in our MathBridge Method™
- Learn the fundamentals of dyscalculia and math learning differences
- Deliver virtual one-on-one math intervention sessions
- Adapt instruction based on student thinking and needs
- Communicate progress with families and team members
- Maintain session notes and follow company processes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching
