This is a long term sub position with potential contract position for 26-27 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middle school mathematics, lesson planning, and classroom management. Perfect position for a retired math instructor, small classroom sizes (5-5-9 students), positive work environment, great staff and students, great families! Utilize learning technology to enhance student understanding and participation. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations. Manage classroom to create a positive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and educational best practices. Experience Prior classroom experience teaching middle school mathematics or related subjects is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry. Experience working with student in a faith based private school settings is advantageous.
