The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment, supporting diverse learners, and delivering engaging, standards based instruction.
Responsibilities:
  • Teach assigned mathematics classes at designated times and locations
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students developmental levels
  • Plan and deliver standards aligned lessons that support district curriculum goals
  • Establish and communicate clear learning objectives for lessons and units
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet diverse student needs
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback and required reports
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students, materials, and school facilities
Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts D.
E.S.E. Certification in Mathematics 9-12-Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution-Familiarity with Illustrative Mathematics curriculum is desired
