Elementary Math Interventionist (K-5) For SC 26/27

Elementary Math Interventionist (K-5) Acton Elementary School Acton Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Elementary Math Interventionist to support students in grades K-5 who benefit from additional math support. This position focuses on providing targeted small-group instruction to help students build confidence and strengthen foundational math skills. The Math Interventionist works closely with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure every student has the support needed to succeed. Responsibilities

• Provide targeted math intervention to students in grades K-5 in small group or individual settings.
• Use assessment data to identify student needs and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support instruction and align interventions.
• Implement evidence-based strategies to strengthen foundational math skills.
• Maintain progress-monitoring records and communicate student growth to staff and families.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development. Qualifications
• Maine teaching certification with endorsement in Elementary Education, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
• Candidates eligible for certification are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the i-Ready Math curriculum is preferred, but is not required Why Join Our School?
