Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract teaching opportunity guiding high school students in mathematics for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role near Ann Arbor offers the chance to inspire and support learners within a dedicated educational community from late August through early June.
Key Requirements:
Current Michigan teaching certificate with a Math Endorsement (please include your active license or certifications in your application) Experience or strong interest in working with high school students Solid understanding of general education practices and differentiated instruction in math Excellent classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators and support staffPrimary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging math instruction aligned with curricular standards Assess student understanding and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement Monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities Participate in faculty meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions This contract position runs from August 24, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
