This full-time, contracted position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and to make a significant impact during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based math lessons to high school students Support learners with a variety of instructional strategies customized to individual and group needs Design assessments and utilize data to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Foster a positive classroom community that promotes respect, curiosity, and critical thinking Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and support staff to implement effective teaching practices Participate in school events, professional development, and ongoing curriculum enhancement initiatives
Qualifications:
Active Michigan teaching certificate with valid Math Endorsement (please detail certifications when applying) Experience teaching general education math at the high school level preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Commitment to cultivating an inclusive, supportive, and academically challenging environment Passion for empowering students to achieve their best This position offers a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $70 and is an excellent match for educators who are dedicated to fostering academic growth and preparing students for future success.
