EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Education Possess a valid, current Michigan secondary teaching certificate. Endorsement in Mathematics (EX) Dual endorsement preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach district approved curriculum. Develop lessons and instructional material to adapt to the curriculum needs of each pupil. Evaluate pupil's academic and social growth, keep appropriate records and prepare progress report. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals establishing clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students. Diagnose the learning disabilities of students. Evaluate pupil's academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports. Conducts parent teacher conferences for education related purposes outside the instructional day. Supervise classroom and students. Other duties may be assigned.

Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Communicate effectively and present information both in oral and in written form
REASONING ABILITY
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of statistical information and data related to student achievement. OTHER SKILLS and

Interact with public and other staff as required. Apply knowledge of current replicated research and techniques related to sensory issues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
