Upper Elementary Educator Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids Schools Ludington, MI 49431 Full-time Full-time Ludington Area Catholic School, located in scenic Ludington, MI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated upper elementary educator who aspires to be an instructional leader and faith-former. Rooted in our Catholic identity, LAC integrates faith and learning while emphasizing the values found in Catholic Social Teaching, living a virtuous life and growing as a servant-leader, like Jesus.
This position will support the schools academic program by delivering instruction to multiage classrooms in the following ways: 5/6 religion, 5/6 ELA and social science, 7/8 ELA and social science and 5/6 morning homeroom. While diocesan curriculum standards provide a strong foundation for learning, our educators are encouraged to exercise professional creativity and teacher agency in shaping the classroom experience. Faculty are supported in designing dynamic, student-centered learning environments that foster curiosity, build foundational skills, and help students discover their God-given potential.
