Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered educator to join our team as a Credit Recovery Night School Teacher. This position will support students in earning credits in core subject areas, helping them to get back on track for graduation. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering academic success and empowering students who may need additional support outside of the traditional school day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide instruction in English and math to students in a credit recovery setting. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to help students meet course requirements. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievement. Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching license in one or more of the listed subject areas (English and Math) Experience working with at-risk or credit-deficient students is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
