Job Description

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool-12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a knowledgeable, engaging, and mission-driven High School Math Teacher to join our Upper School faculty. This part-time role is ideal for an educator who enjoys helping students develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence within a Christ-centered, academically rigorous environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching a range of Upper School math courses, including advanced classes such as Pre-Calculus. Liberty Classical Academy - Hugo Campus Key Responsibilities Teach Upper School mathematics courses, which may include Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus Provide clear, structured instruction that develops strong analytical and problem-solving skills Foster mathematical reasoning, precision, and critical thinking in the classroom Integrate a Christian worldview into instruction and student interactions Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with course objectives Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback Maintain a structured, orderly, and positive classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and expectations Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Contribute to the life of the school through student supervision and faculty collaboration Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Mathematics, Education, or related field preferred) Experience teaching Upper School or secondary mathematics preferred Ability to teach advanced math courses such as Pre-Calculus required Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, instructional strategies, and student learning development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to engage and motivate high school students while maintaining a structured classroom environment Interest in or experience with classical education preferred Commitment to integrating a Christian worldview into instruction Agreement with
Liberty Classical Academy's Statement of Faith Schedule, Pay & Benefits Schedule:
Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week; schedule to be determined)
Compensation:
