Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:30-6:30pm

Kumon is an after-school math and reading enrichment program founded in Japan in 1958. Kumon has presence in 51 countries and is one of the largest education franchise in North America. Our program offers a method of learning that provides individualized, self-paced instruction of math and reading aimed at helping children reach and exceed their school grade level.

Job Qualifications:

Individuals with strong math and reading aptitude who enjoys working with elementary school age children.

Job duties/responsibilities:

Grade students' homework and classwork efficiently
Guide students ages 4-15 to complete Kumon math and reading assignments
Must be able to multi-task while working with multiple students
Motivate students and be able to provide feedback to Instructor and parents

Requirements:

Must be available to work the schedule noted year round
Must be able to work in a fast paced, but quiet learning facility
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be highly organized and can multi-task .

Must love working with children ages 3 and up This position is a very good match for High school and College students looking for part time work and some hands-on experience, teachers or retired teachers looking for some afternoon hours. Teaching credentials are not necessary, but ability to work with elementary age children is a must. Paid training on the Kumon Method will be provided.
