Job Description
About us S.A.M Singapore Math is a learning center that provides math and English enrichment program to students from age 4-14 years old. As the largest Singapore Math enrichment program in the world, S.A.M's multi-award-winning Singapore Math enrichment program has served students in more than 200 centers in 20+countries. The S.A.E Phonics and English program helps students to read fluently, write confidently and achieve competence. Our mission is to help students to enjoy and excel in Math and English and prepare for future. We are looking for part-time Math and ELA trainers who enjoy and are experienced working with children. We provide online and onsite training, ongoing support and career advancement opportunity. We value our teachers who are the cornerstone to achieve our mission. The trainers uses the existing curriculum to guide students on the individualized learning plan in small group setting, maintains regular communication with the director about the instruction and student progress, and contributes to the effective operation of the overall Math and English program.
Available Working hours:
Tuesday 4:30-7:30 pm Wednesday 4:30-7:30 pm Thursday 4-7 pm Friday 4-7 pm Saturday 9am-12pm More hours are available if the trainer is interested in lesson planning and center administrative work.Start date:

Skillman, NJ or West Windsor, NJ Primary duties involve:- To coach students from age 4-14 years old and guide them to learn Math and/or English using the established curriculum
- To grade student's homework
- To communicate with the director and/or parents on a regular basis about student progress
- To assist with lesson planning and other center administrative tasks
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Competent in Mathematics and English
- Experience working with children
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Cheerful and passionate to work with children
- Strong communication and organization skills and a good team player
- Able to work on evenings and/or weekends
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
- Authorization to work in U.
