HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER
(GRADES 9-12) For 2026-2027 School Year About Maritime Western New York Maritime Charter School is a military-style public charter school built on structure, accountability, and leadership development . Our classrooms are predictable, disciplined, and focused on execution. Who We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone who "likes math" and hopes students will engage. We are looking for a teacher who: Runs a tight, structured classroom every period Can manage behavior consistently without escalation Holds students accountable for showing work, thinking, and completing tasks Is comfortable addressing issues immediately, not later Understands that math success requires discipline, repetition, and clarity Thrives in a high-expectation, no-excuses environment If your classroom tends to become inconsistent, off-task, or dependent on student motivation, this is not the right fit.
