Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Elementary School Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support students' academic and social development. This full-time teaching position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys while working collaboratively with colleagues and engaging with families. This position is a tenure track probationary full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and creative writing techniques to enhance student engagement. Utilize research-based instructional strategies, including differentiated instruction and behavior management, to meet the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education support. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and NYS testing, and adjust teaching methods accordingly to improve learning outcomes. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents, and communicate progress regularly to parents and guardians. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management, conflict resolution, and mentoring students in social-emotional skills. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school-wide initiatives to promote a cohesive learning experience.
