Job Description

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Math 8 Teacher in our Middle School building for a 2026-2027 opening. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated member of the Middle School team.

Candidates can expect:

Full curriculum and assessment system from Ready Classroom Mathematics

An intevention period where the teacher can plan small group instruction

Students to have 90 minutes of math per day, max number of students is 75

To focus instruction around easily accessible student data

Full benefits including New York State Teachers' Retirement Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Salary will be calculated based on NYS certification, years of experience, and completion of a Master's Degree. Base salary increase coming in the fall of 2026 for all school employees. Our School
