Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to inspire and educate students in the fascinating world of mathematics. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and differential equations. Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, standardized exams, and project work; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation and collaboration. Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including those of students requiring special education or advanced coursework. Mentor students individually or in groups, offering tutoring sessions and academic advising to foster their confidence and mastery of math skills. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, research initiatives, and instructional design to ensure high-quality educational experiences. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; higher education teaching experience is preferred. Proven classroom experience with strong classroom management skills and effective lesson planning capabilities. Expertise in core mathematics areas such as algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, discrete math, and molecular biology concepts where applicable. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for instructional delivery and assessment. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those in special education settings or private school environments. Excellent communication skills for engaging students, mentoring peers, and collaborating with staff members. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and instructional strategies for test preparation. Laboratory experience in research settings or dissection activities related to biology or biochemistry is advantageous. Ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups and educational frameworks such as Montessori or other specialized curricula.
