Job Description

Shape the academic journey of 7th grade learners as a full-time Math General Education Teacher for a contract assignment beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2027. This onsite position supports a single classroom at the middle school level, offering engaging instruction in accordance with PA state and district standards. Youll deliver 35 hours per week of dedicated service, planning dynamic lessons, monitoring student progress, and implementing strong classroom management. This opportunity calls for the ability to teach, inspire, and guide students in an urban setting.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required (to obtain emergency teaching permit if necessary) Active PA teaching certification/licensure appropriate for role Demonstrated mastery of math content and instructional strategies for middle school Previous experience working in school settings, particularly in urban environments Must have strong classroom and behavioral management skills Able to complete all required PA background clearances Reliable transportation required Comfortable with working onsite, on a fixed schedule from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm (no schedule adjustments available) Must be adaptable to district and school-specific expectations
