Job Description

Job Summary Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations. The Department of Mathematics at Kutztown University is accepting applications for multiple temporary part-time positions at the instructor level for Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027, teaching a variety of Mathematics General Education courses. In addition, candidates must have the ability to integrate the use of technology into all courses. Preference given to applicants showing evidence of strong teaching. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have earned a Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or Mathematics Education, with at least one year of college-level teaching experience; or a related field with at least three years of teaching mathematics at the college level.
