STS is seeking a PA Certified Math Teacher to fill a long term substitute role at Strathhaven Middle School, within the Wallingford Swarthmore School District. The candidate must be PA Certified in Math 7-12 or Mid Level Math 6-9. This position runs from 8/24-10/30. The rate of pay is $190 per day, paid through Substitute Teacher Service. Skills Strong knowledge of mathematics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, discrete math, and molecular biology concepts. Experience in curriculum development and implementation aligned with educational standards. Classroom management skills to foster an inclusive and disciplined environment for teenagers from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in integrating learning technology and educational software into daily lessons. Excellent communication skills for effective instruction, mentoring, and collaboration with colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on different learning styles and special education needs. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and instructional design for academic success.
