These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. The Bradley School offers each student a different kind of academic experience and a renewed chance at success. In addition, our classrooms include state-of-the-art resources that are specifically designed to serve the needs of the students. We are looking for a High School Math Teacher who is motivated, compassionate and has a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for someone with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child's life.
Primary responsibilities include:
Provide structured learning experiences for children with behavioral, emotional, and mental health disabilities Support students' intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth Engage students in learning with well-paced instruction Design and implement lessons aligned with instructional goals and adapted to individual student needs Qualifications best suited for the position: Initiative and creativity Ability to build rapport with students Excellent communication skills Strong classroom management Willingness to collaborate with special education teachers Strong knowledge of mathematics content Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics required, Master's degree preferred Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in Mathematics (7-12 preferred) required Special Education certification preferred 6-12 months of experience working with youth in an educational setting Must be at least 21 years old Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance Benefits Student loan repayment program (We contribute directly to employee's student loan lenders monthly) $1500 sign on bonus $2000 relocation assistance Referral bonuses Paid Time Off Health, dental and vision Coverage 401(k) Life insurance Free parking and meals Advanced training opportunities and continuing education credits We are committed to advocacy for children with special needs, care and compassion, and focusing on the inherent strengths of children, youth and families without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or gender.
