Full-Time The Summer College Preview Program (SCPP) in Qatar is seeking an experienced Programming instructor for the upcoming summer session. This is an exciting opportunity to teach highly motivated high school students preparing for university-level studies. The program will run from July 19 - August 6, 2026, with instructor training scheduled from July 13 - 16, 2026. This is a
LOCAL CONTRACT
Key Responsibilities:
Teach a 60-minute Programming class each day over the three-week program (totaling 15 hours of instruction). Be available for 2 hours per day for office hours and tutoring sessions to provide additional academic support to students. Participate in community-building activities, which may take place in the evenings and/or on Saturdays during the program. About the
Program:
The Summer College Preview Program is a rigorous, three-week academic experience designed for academically talented students entering their junior and senior years of high school (grades 11 & 12). The program is designed to help students in Qatar and the surrounding region prepare for admission to U.S. universities and excel once they are accepted. In addition to Programming, students will engage in courses in Math, English, and one of the four majors offered: Business Administration, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and Information Systems.
Qualifications:
In your letter of intent, please demonstrate your ability to: Effectively teach and mentor secondary school students. Adapt to dynamic classroom environments. Navigate linguistic and cultural differences with ease. Work effectively in a diverse cultural setting.
