Upper School Math Teacher

Upper School Math Teacher Christian School of York (CSY) is seeking to hire an Upper School math teacher for the 26/27 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and develop confidence in their mathematical abilities. This educator designs engaging learning experiences across a range of math courses. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Curriculum Teach a full load of Upper School math courses (specific courses assigned based on expertise and departmental needs). Design lessons that promote conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and real‑world application. Use varied instructional strategies to support diverse learning styles and abilities. Develop assessments that measure student progress and provide meaningful feedback. Integrate technology, manipulatives, and inquiry‑based approaches where appropriate. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with families. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field. Strong understanding of secondary mathematics content. Experience working with upper/high school students in an educational setting. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Pay:

$41,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
