Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Middle School Math Specialist (Part-Time) Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School Cranston, Rhode Island Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Middle School Math Specialist to join our learning community for the upcoming school year. This is a part-time position (approximately 24 hours per week) focused on supporting students in Grades 5-8 through targeted mathematics instruction and intervention. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build confidence and mastery in mathematics through small-group instruction, differentiated support, and strong foundational teaching practices. Primary Responsibilities Provide math support and intervention services for students in Grades 5-8 Teach small-group instruction in: Core middle school math content Pre-Algebra Algebra Support students in developing foundational computational skills, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support student growth and achievement Use assessment data to identify student needs and provide targeted instruction Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field Teaching certification preferred Experience working with middle school students Strong understanding of middle school math curriculum, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra instruction Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education About ICCRS At Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School, we are committed to "Growing Greatness in mind, heart, body, and soul."
