Principal Job Goal:
To work with students in overcoming academic gaps in math; to communicate with parents, teachers and principals regarding each student's needs and progress.Qualifications:
Certified math teacher preferred Be able to establish a collaborative relationship with other teachers, parents and administrators Organized and skilled at record keeping Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptablePerformance Responsibilities:
Participates in state, district, or school level professional training programs and learning activities. Administers necessary or required student assessments to identify student strengths and weaknesses. Keeps careful records on each student's progress. Utilizes technology to strengthen and support student instruction. Communicates with the principal and other identified school personnel on the progress of students. Models for teachers and parents when needed, effective teaching or intervention strategies. Responsible for the planning and implementation of effective instruction. Upholds professional standards and ethics. Performs other duties as assigned.- The principal will determine the specific essential job duties as planned for his/her school.
