Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Mathematics Teacher to inspire and challenge students in their mathematical journey. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love for mathematics. You will be responsible for developing curriculum, implementing innovative teaching strategies, and supporting students' academic growth. Responsibilities Design and deliver comprehensive mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum standards, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and molecular biology where applicable. Develop and implement innovative instructional strategies utilizing educational technology to cater to diverse learning styles and enhance student engagement. Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, standardized exams, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback to support continuous improvement. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to academic achievement. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating IT-enabled lessons to ensure consistency and high-quality instruction. Support students' social-emotional development through mentoring and guidance tailored to their individual needs. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and participation in compliance with educational regulations and standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in secondary education are preferred. Proven experience teaching high school students in classroom settings; prior middle school teaching experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of mathematics disciplines including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, cell biology, organic chemistry, and related scientific research areas. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that incorporates learning technology and adapts to various learning styles. Excellent classroom management skills combined with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience implementing IT-integrated lessons and utilizing educational technology tools for instruction. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational compliance requirements. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and engagement with students' families. Knowledge of special education practices and behavior management techniques is a plus. $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
