Deliver high-quality, rigorous Algebra 1 instruction tailored to the needs of 9th-grade students. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with Tennessee state standards and the school's curriculum. Create a positive, developmentally appropriate classroom environment conducive to learning and student growth. Use data-driven strategies to assess student progress and tailor reteaching, interventions, and accelerations. Prepare students effectively for end-of-course (EOC) assessments and college readiness. Foster strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families to support student achievement. Maintain accurate records and ensure a safe, respectful classroom for all. Participate actively in professional development and school activities.

What We're Looking For:

Must-have:

Bachelor's degree and valid Tennessee 6-12 or 9-12 teaching certificate with Mathematics endorsement.

Must-have:

Minimum 1 year of teaching experience; 2+ years preferred.

Must-have:

Strong content knowledge in Algebra 1 and Tennessee math standards.

Must-have:

Experience preparing students for standardized assessments and using data to inform instruction.

Nice-to-have:
