Location:
Allen, TX 75013 About Best Brains Learning Center of Allen South Best Brains Learning Center of Allen South provides academic enrichment in Math, English, Abacus, and Coding for students ages 3-14. Our teachers work with students in small groups using a structured, non-repetitive curriculum designed to strengthen academic skills, confidence, and independent learning. We offer a supportive, organized teaching environment with prepared lesson materials, small class sizes, and no lesson planning required. Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic current or retired educator who holds or has previously held a state-issued teaching certificate for any K-12 grade level. Both active and inactive teaching certificates are accepted. This part-time, year-round role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children ages 3-14 and has a strong background in Math and English Language Arts. Teachers with classroom experience who can tutor after school and commit to at least six months are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Maintain a positive rapport with students by demonstrating patience and a nurturing approach. Work individually with up to 5 students at a time, ensuring focused and personalized learning. Introduce new concepts and effective learning strategies using our well-designed curriculum. Effectively manage classroom behavior, including redirecting distracted students to maintain a quiet learning environment. Provide daily, individualized feedback on student progress and grade assignments to ensure full comprehension of concepts.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications Required:
Teacher Certificate Bachelor's degree Strong proficiency in Math and English language arts At least 1 year of classroom experience (Elementary and/or Middle School) Reliable means of commuting to work Ability to commit to tutoring 3-10 hours per week during weekday evenings and Saturday mornings
Preferred:
