Job Description
Become part of a community that is helping take children from crisis to new creation at Still Creek Christian Academy in Bryan, TX. At Still Creek Ranch, children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment are given a safe home, the Gospel, a great education, and the opportunity to learn a good work ethic through life on the ranch. The school is where our residents spend the majority of their waking hours, meaning that our teachers are very influential in helping our residents heal from backgrounds of trauma. We train in trauma-informed care through the Whole Child Initiative and Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), giving our staff tools for engaging our resident children in the classroom. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and faith-centered High School Math Teacher to add to our team. The teacher supervises and supports students enrolled in online or blended-learning courses within a structured classroom environment and provides high quality instruction in line with the mission of Still Creek Ranch. While course instruction is delivered through a digital platform, the teacher provides in-person guidance, monitors student progress, promotes accountability, and ensures students remain engaged and on pace with their coursework. Additionally, the teacher will need to be able to provide individual and small group support and intervention. All content area certifications will be considered, with our highest need being in Mathematics G7-G12. We are accredited through Cognia, a nonprofit accreditation and school improvement organization. A highly qualified teacher will have a bachelor's degree and a content area certification. Retired teachers, alternative certification teachers, and student teachers are encouraged to apply. We have a very small school and average only 5-6 students per grade level, with a maximum student to teacher ratio of 10:1. We will considered part-time employment for the right person. For immediate consideration for the 2026-27 school year, please send your resume to: Tammy Daggs, School Principal, t.daggs@stillcreekranch.org.
