Supplemental Math Instructor Part Time

About Our College Galveston College is a comprehensive community college located on Galveston Island, just 40 miles south of Houston, Texas. Job Summary:

Attend targeted classes, take notes, and participate in discussions. Assist students with class assignments in the math lab and classroom settings. Hold one-on-one tutoring sessions. Follow all procedures and policies set by the Developmental Math Department.

Required Qualifications:

GPA of 3.0 or above. Has knowledge and understanding of MyMath Lab. Average of A or Higher in selected course (Math 0314, 0324, 0342, and 0332). Complete all developmental education courses or be exempt from them.
