Summer Program Houston PREP Instructor requirements: Houston PREP is designed to engage middle and high school students in STEM fields, to inspire creativity, to encourage interactive learning, to foster positive thinking. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Science, Technology, Mathematics fields Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse university community Dependable, professional, and positive responsibilities Required Qualifications 2+ years of college level courses in Mathematics or Computer Science Education in lieu of experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Engineering, or similarly related fields Experience in lieu of education All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
