FTE 1.0 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution 2. Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate K8 All Subjects
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Preferred previous experience in teaching or other related fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math 2. Strong classroom management skills 3. Ability to build rapport with students 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5. Strong leadership qualities 6. Ability to integrate curriculum; plan and deliver integrated lessons accordingly 7. Support and encourage students to make connections using handson, real world activities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver STEAM oriented instruction through project based learning methods 2. Manage and educate students in a classroom setting 3. Implement engaging lesson plans 4. Adhere to established teaching curriculum 5. Maintain positive relationships with students and parents 6. Maintain the health and safety of all students 7. Order and organize appropriate materials 8. Perform other duties as assigned
