This role offers a flexible schedule for individuals eager to make a positive impact on learners' academic journeys. As a Math Instructor, you will deliver engaging lessons, tailor instruction to diverse student needs, and foster a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in mathematics. Your expertise will help students develop critical thinking skills and achieve their academic goals through innovative teaching methods and technology integration. Duties Adapt to Mathnasium curriculum materials to suit different learning styles and educational levels, including algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, and discrete math. Deliver Interactive instruction using various learning method to create an interactive teaching experience. Provide personalized tutoring sessions for students preparing for tests or seeking additional support in science, chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, or engineering disciplines. lesson plans that incorporate current educational best practices and align with curriculum standards. Assess student progress regularly through Mastery checks, provide constructive feedback to promote growth. Understand the Binder Management and follow through to keep Binders Organzed for smooth teaching experience. Experience Proven tutoring experience teaching diverse student populations in small group settings. Strong background in mathematics including algebra, geometry, calculus, differential equations, data structures, and discrete math. Demonstrated ability to work with students requiring special accommodations or additional support. Knowledge of science subjects such as chemistry (organic and inorganic), microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science is highly desirable. Familiarity with test preparation tutoring for standardized exams or college entrance assessments. Excellent communication skills, eye for details and making teaching fun, to foster an engaging learning environment. Pay:
