instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering an engaging curriculum that fosters a love for STEM and computing subjects among students. You will play a crucial role in preparing students for future careers in these fields by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. The candidate for theK-12 STEM MATH
Instructor will be responsible for:Curriculum Development:
Create and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and incorporate the latest advancements in STEM and computing education.Instruction:
Deliver high-quality instruction in STEM and computing subjects, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students.Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress, providing feedback to support their growth.Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and mutual respect.Professional Development:
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and improve instructional practices.Technology Integration:
Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences and better prepare students for technology-driven careers.Student Mentorship:
Provide mentorship and guidance to students interested in pursuing careers in STEM and computing fields. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Proven instructional experience in education, including a teaching certification or equivalent experience Proven understanding of STEM and computing principles and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Preferred Qualifications Master's degree Pay Band 4Overtime Status Non-Exempt:
Eligible for overtime Appointment Type Restricted Salary Information Commensurate with experience Hours per week up to 29 hours per week Review Date 4/17/2026 Additional Information The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
