Aug 1, 2026 Job Description Saint Veronica Catholic School is seeking full-time 5th grade teacher for 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must possess or be eligible for certification/licensure in Virginia or through the VCEA. The classroom teachers are responsible for creating lesson plans, administering praise and constructive criticism, instructing students on subjects such as Religion, science, literature, and math. Teachers create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program that adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Diocese of Arlington Ofice of Catholic School. The Saint Veronica Catholic School Community celebrates the spirit of Christ, who is the perfect teacher, and each child is recognized as an intellectual, spiritual, and social being with an inherent desire to learn. The mission of the school is to ensure vibrant religious education and exemplary academics by empowering our students and faculty through faith and knowledge. Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, strong classroom management skills, and practice communicating with parents. We seek dynamic teachers who inspire students and who work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues in various curricular areas and divisions. Candidates should be passionate about teaching and have a love for the students.
