Job Description

The Mt. Abraham Union Middle School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Long-Term Substitute Math Interventionist to join our team for a temporary assignment. We believe that all students should have access to high-quality personalized, proficiency-based learning opportunities and authentic assessment practices.

The Math Interventionist provides targeted academic support to middle school students who need additional instruction in mathematics. Working within the school's MTSS framework, the interventionist uses assessment data and teacher input to identify student needs, delivers evidence-based small-group and individualized interventions, monitors student progress, and adjusts supports based on results. The interventionist collaborates closely with classroom teachers, special educators, counselors, and the school's instructional support team to strengthen students' foundational math skills, confidence, and access to grade-level learning.

This position will run from November 12, 2026-January 19, 2027

Salary Range:

$50,663 - $95,803
